What a great beginning of summer blockbuster movies. This weekend I had the pleasure of viewing the Iron Man sequel. I’m not a crazy comic fanatic but I do enjoy the films. I have to say Tony Starks is the only super hero super star that ever made me say,”Wow, I have to get that”. And I don’t mean in a kiddie I want Batman’s boomerang kind of way. I mean I can actually go to Neiman Marcus and purchase grown up toys.
I take great pride in taking the risk in buying things before I see some celebrity give a product thier stamp of approval. It takes some effort to be one step ahead of Hollywood & Rap stars. But I will admit its a losing battle. While viewing Iron Man 2 here are some things I placed into my shopping cart or wish list.
These Initium “All In” sunglasses are a must have for me. I saw them I want them. Metal frame, polarized lenses and spring loaded hinges. Retail for $154. Maybe they fit my face shape maybe they don’t. The shades are Luxe. Breaking the face shape rule is Broad St. All sunglasses worn in the film are by Initium
Tony Starks vehicle of choice is the Audi R8 V10 Spyder. If you haven’t seen it here it is. Estimated price $165,000 ,4wheel drive & 0-60mph in 3.7 seconds. And it looks good really good.
Even down to the timepiece it is serious. Will the watch that Iron Man wears be more in demand than James Bonds?
Tony Stark wears the Jaeger-LeCoultre AMVOX3 Tourbillion GMT. If you need to ask how much this isn’t the timepiece for you.

Iron Man 2 is a great movie with eye candy everywhere for grown folks. The house he lived in Malibu with the touch screen everything with talking valet, to all the great vehicles. Tailored suits and exquisite timepieces and eyewear, and never forget the ladies. Don’t forget to stay till after the credits for the added surprise.
See that’s what I’m talking about! I’m glad to see we both enjoyed that movie for more reasons than the flying suit.
Iron Man 2 has taken product placement to another level. Check out the Mercedes E Class Cabrio placement in Sex and the City 2. Mercedes has produced new commercials to highlight its use.
