Last night some gentlemen & I decided to spend our Friday evening at the MCL on Madison Avenue in Harlem. Just a short 30 minute drive from Jersey with no traffic. We fly across the globe to enjoy cigars so leaving your state should be no inconvenience. The MCL is an attractive lounge. Im sure on the right night this is the sexiest cigar lounge around. Its the people who make a great lounge as much as the cigars.
We enter this evening and there is dim lighting, jazz as the thememusic, basketball & music videos on each the of two large flat screens. A nice crowd of ladies & gentlemen enjoying themselves. Mandarine walls with cigar & music related decor from jazz to hip hop and paintings from artists like David Garibaldi. The humidor was lightly stocked but with premium smokes like Maduro JFR’s, La Auro,La Auro samplers, Gurkha, Rocky Patel and house blends. There is a cutting & corking fee.
Thanks to the wonderful hostess named Ten for her assistance. Ten’s excellent customer service made us feel very welcome. We will be returning to MCL. This place is B&L.

Gomez from the Adams family was my first brush with cigar smoothness. This dude was smooth, he had money, he had an eccentric side and he took care of his family. Gomez was Broad but very Luxe at the same time and how can you doubt a dude who always wore a suit.
