American Shave Bike Day 2011 Pics

I had a great time at the 3rd Annual American ShaveBike Day. I don’t ride, but being here kinda made me want a bike. AM Shave provided a.c., cuts,shaves, good food & plenty of cold beverages for everyone on one of the hottest days of the year. Thanks to The Smoke~N~Loungefor providing cigars,fresh hand rolls & hosting the after party.

Check out some of the pics from that day & night. The bike competition was tough. A lot of nice bikes out there. I don’t want to hear about how you would have won “if” you came. You didn’t ! Maybe next year.

Shout out to my LUXE homie Darren he won the Top pick plaque from iRide United and 2nd place trophy for his Cruiser!

American Shave Bike Day

Saturday July 23rd 2011 is The American Shave Bike Day. Come through on your cruisers, choppers, Ducatis, Can-Am Spiders, Ninjas or whatever you ride! As the flyer states anyone who arrives on a bike will get a free shave, t-shirt & lunch from 12-2pm. Trophies will be awarded as well.

Afterward a ride down to The Smoke~n~Lounge is scheduled for more good times, Cigars & Hookah. Come enjoy this event with plenty of great sponsors like Broad&Luxe, HellRaisers House, American Crew , Smoke~n~Lounge, Yoisen Rosales Photography and many more. Luxe.

Smoke~N~Lounge Anniversary was crazy!

Wow what a great time we all had at the Smoke n Lounge of Belleville,NJ Anniversary Celebration. Plenty of food, sangria, hookah,cigars, & good times. Much respect to the owners staff & customers. Broad & Luxe was happy to be apart of this.

Chocolate & gold cover Grey Goose infused strawberries were presented to the ladies created by @TheSweeteTouch <<<Contact!

The Sweete Touch also presented us with a surprise B&L cake. LUXE!!

All bottles popped, drinks poured,food & desserts served courtiously by Majestic Staffing Service. Classy as always.

Dj Outlaw aka @TheMostWanted1 held it down all night. Even I danced!

Congratulations Mark Cuban 2011 NBA Champion/Owner

Congrats to Mark Cuban owner of the 2011 NBA Champion Dallas Mavericks! Yes I am congratulating an owner. He didn’t make one free throw, dunk or assist. But Mr. Cuban also did not sit up in some luxury suite and look down on the employees(players) and customers(fans) either.

Probably the most popular of all team owners with his role on HBO’s Entourage to the ABC hit show Shark Tank Mark Cuban is Broad and Luxe. Look at the pic above Mr. Cuban tweeted. Besides that trophy and private jet he’s one of us. He pulled that celebration cigar out of its plastic cover and threw it right on the seat just as we would in our cars. LOL!

Did he light that cigar on the jet? I would bet he did. When you own the plane you do what you want. Winning! Holt’s Cigar Co. & Mahogany on Walnut

This weekend the B&L crew headed out to Philly for a change of atmosphere. Here we visited Holts Cigar Company and Mahogany Cigar Lounge for lunch & libations.

Holt’s Cigar Co. is big online. Great prices & deals so I hear. I am not a fan of ordering my cigars online. It is a plus that Holt’s has an actual retail location for guys like me. I enjoy the benefits of belonging to a cigar lounge which I believe far out weighs what I can save online. But that’s another story.

Holt’s is not filled with “premium alternatives” like JR cigars. Its premium from wall to wall with a helpful and professional staff. Lots of deals and specials. I did leave with a good amount of Drew Estate Liga Privada T-52′s.

Holt’s is all retail space not a lounge . Buy whatever cigar, pipe & accessories you need….and leave. Then head right next door to Mahogany on Walnut. Very nice comfortable dimly lit cigar lounge & bar. Fresh lunch, top shelf bar, antique interior, a couple flat screens & well ventilated. The beer selection is just ok but the whiskey menu is extensive. Excellent bartender I am positive she memorized the entire drink menu.

Philly is a beautiful city to make a day out of something. Eat good, smoke good, drink good, shop good. Luxe

B&L Premium Night Respect

We would like to thank everyone who came out to have a good time at The Broad & Luxe Premium Night at The Smoke~n~Lounge in Belleville,NJ. The Smoke~n~Lounge is definitely a Luxe establishment. Offering fine cigars, best hookahs,comfortable seating and the same great service I received months ago. It was fitting we host this event here.

This could not have been a Premium Night without premium service. We made that happen with the help of Majestic Staffing. Three beautiful, professional and courteous women provided white glove service for every guest that evening. They served hors devours like fresh fruit, crab cakes, quiche & Italian meatballs. They lit cigars, served top shelf drinks and Moet all evening. Need a ice bucket for your beer? Need a refill? Want another cigar? Relax it was all handled.

I don’t know about you but I don’t like being treated like cattle. Standing in long lines with a herd of people to be over charged. Waiting at a bar with 50 other people begging for a bartender to serve me. Bottle service is cool, but at most places you get the bottle and no service. Shout out to the Elite who appreciate the lifestyle. More B&L events to come for 2011. These events won’t always be open to the public.
